About us
You know that feeling? The one that kicks in when you hear about the starlet who goes down in flames after a scandalous video hits the net. It almost seems too perfect. Like it was put there for our amusement.
It's the same feeling you get when you watch the stiff politician on the nightly news, standing in front of the FEMA trailer mumbling about the heroics of this fine government agency in the wake of such a terrible tragedy, meanwhile the broken wreckage surrounding him screams out its testimony to the contrary.
This is the same feeling you get when the price of gas skyrockets as oil companies report record profits, or when you know that no matter who you vote for, nothing is going to change.
It's the feeling that somehow, you are being conned. Like you're watching a magician turn a lady into a tiger right in front of your eyes. You see it clearly, but there is a moment when you have trouble connecting to what you just whitened and you aren't sure if your eyes are lying to you. That's what the feeling is, you know. The feeling that you've just been had.
Somewhere, deep inside, you are awake to this. You may even think to your self, 'one day, I'll live to see it all come to a head; I will be a living witness to the battle that will determine the fate of the human race'.
In this, you would be correct. Because, the battle is here, and whether you choose to believe it or not, the enemy occupation is real. So real in fact that each and every day you choose sides in a game you didn't even know you were playing. And often, you choose wrong.
But some of us make a conscious choice to fight.
Some of us make up the resistance.
